“Lambrakis Dossier” Photo Exhibition extension -Efklidis Station of Thessaloniki Metro
Efklidis Station of Thessaloniki Metro (access on Konstantinoupoleos street),whose construction was very recently completed, shall remain open to be visited by citizens who missed their chance, for two more days, i.e., until Friday, June 14th, during the same hours, 18.00 – 20.00.
This Station hosts a photo exhibition titled the “Lambrakis Dossier”,which deals with the life and the work of Grigoris Lambrakis.
This exhibition, co-organizedbytheMinistryofTransportandInfrastructuresandbyAttikoMetroS.A., brings into the light classified files kept by the Police Authorities and the National Security Agency, and spans the period in which he was a member of the National Liberation Front (EAM) and participated in the International Peace Movement; it also deals with the career of Grigoris Lambrakis as a politician, an athlete and a doctor, highlighting the fierce persecution he had suffered throughout his life, even after his death which came as a result of murderous attacks by para-state individuals.
