A. With regard to the TRAMWAY CORRIDOR:
In the remaining areas of the entire Tramway network:
• Tramway corridor works have been completed:
– at N. Faliro stop (installation of turnouts and connection of the Tramway extension to Piraeus with the operating tramway network)
– at Mousson Street (installation of a turnout for optimum operation of the Tramway extension to Piraeus)
– at Syntagma (amended terminal stop)
• In progress are works for the completion of the urban planning at Syntagma terminal stop.
B. With regard to other work fronts:
• Along the Tramway corridor, in progress are:
– works for the maintenance of manholes on asphalt road pavements
– the installation of tramway signalling system at signalled junctions located along the tramway corridor.
• At Akti Possidonos Street, in progress are:
– archaeological excavation works
– works for the relocation of PUO networks, the construction of tramway corridor and urban planning.
• At Vas. Georgiou & Ethn. Antistasseos junction in progress are:
– archaeological excavation works
– works for the relocation of PUO networks, the construction of tramway corridor.
• SEF stop and Alikakou square:
– planting and urban planning works have been completed.
– works for the construction of other foreseen structures (serving the needs of the stop, etc.).
• In various Piraeus areas, in progress are works for the installation of underground waste bins.
