Traffic arrangements
In view of executing the construction works at VENIZELOU Station, the following new traffic arrangements are necessary to be implemented:
In coordination with the Traffic Police, the following traffic arrangements shall be implemented as from next Sunday (September 29, 2019), since the worksite occupation will be relocated to the south side of Venizelou street:
1) Along the part of Egnatia affected by the construction works, vehicular traffic shall occupy two traffic lanes on each direction.
2) Vehicular traffic resumes at the north side of Venizelou street.
3) The section of Venizelou street extending from Ermou street to Egnatia is closed to vehicular traffic. Special provisions shall be made to facilitate access and circulation of catering and emergency services vehicles within the area occupied by the new worksite installation.
4) All traffic formerly moving on the south side of Venizelou street shall be redirected to Ermou and Agias Sofias streets.
