In the presence of Mr. George Karayiannis, Secretary General of Infrastructures, a meeting was held between representatives of ATTIKO METRO S.A. and Thessaloniki Transport Authority (OSETH).
More specifically, Mr. Nikolaos Tachiaos, Chairman of ATTIKO METRO S.A., Mr. Nikolaos Kouretas, CEO of ATTIKO METRO S.A., Mr. Ioannis Kalogeroudis, Chairman of OSETH, Mr. Ioannis Toskas, Managing Director of OSETH and executives of both Organizations exchanged their views on the following issues:
- Combined transportation in Thessaloniki
- Metro operation
- Cooperation between OSETH and ATTIKO METRO S.A. towards the proper implementation of the transportation model in the city of Thessaloniki.
Subsequently, the management of ATTIKO METRO S.A. informed in detail the Secretary General on the progress of the Metro Project works in Thessaloniki, as well as on the pending issues that must be addressed, in order to pave the way for the smooth implementation of the subject Project.
Other meetings are soon to follow, so as to examine all the aforementioned issues of great importance for the city of Thessaloniki.
