Today Mr. Dominique Bussereau, Deputy Minister of Transport of France, visited the extension of Metro Line 2 towards Elliniko, which intends to add 4 new modern Stations and 5.5 km of Line to the existing Metro network.
Mr. Dominique Bussereau, accompanied by the Ambassador of France, Mr. Christophe Farnaud and by a delegation of high-ranking executives, was given a tour to ARGYROUPOLI Station and was briefed by Messrs. Ioannis Oikonomidis, Secretary General of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Christos Tsitouras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ATTIKO METRO S.A., about the progress of the Metro works and the most critical extensions of the Metro network.
Upon completion of the visit, Mr. Bussereau expressed his satisfaction about the ATHENS METRO and, especially, about the high construction quality of the project.
Mr. Tsitouras expressed his gratitude to all attendants and stressed the effort made for the new Metro Stations to be commissioned and rendered to the public the soonest possible.
