A part of the currently under construction AGHIA SOFIA Metro Station in Thessaloniki opens on Saturday June 16th2012 and, thus, the citizens of Thessaloniki can visit the station to see the historic finds revealed by archaeologists, such as the stone-paved street dated from the 3rd century BC and other infrastructures.
Visiting hours shall be from 09:00 to 13:00 and the visitors shall use the worksite entrance located on Aghias Sofias street opposite to the Holy Church of Achiropiitos.
All visitors to the worksite should have the appropriate and safe footwear and they will be provided with the required Personal Protection Equipment (i.e. helmet).
