TZAVELA Shaft
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft and of the connecting tunnel.
- Construction of sound absorbing plaster.
- Traffic Arrangement – Phase B’.
- Installation of doors.
The following works are in progress:
- Reinstatement works at Tzavela and Lakonias Streets (installation of curbs, construction of gutters, sidewalk paving activities, installation of sumps, construction of rain water network, reinstatement of an old non-recorded stone duct lined with slabs).
MANIATIKA STATION
STATION’s OPEN CUT
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft.
The following works are in progress:
- Waterproofing of the roof slab.
- Architectural finishes – Painting works at levels -4, -3, -2, -1.
- Installation of ceramic tiles and granites at levels -4, -3, -2, -1.
- Installation of metal structures in room 3.12.
- Installation of doors.
- Installation of false-ceilings’ supports in room 1.4.
- Installation of steel cladding (panels) on the walls of the main areas at level -1.
- Station backfilling.
- Demolition of pile cap beam.
MAIN TUNNEL OF THE STATION (ΝΑΤΜ)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the station’s main tunnel.
- Secondary concreting in platforms.
- Installation of granites in platforms.
The following works are in progress:
- Installation of false ceilings and side-covering panels on the walls.
- Installation of consolidated emergency units.
UNDERGROUND NATM SECTIONS OF THE STATION (NATM)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining.
The following works are in progress:
- Installation of steel panels at the platforms, the access tunnels of the station and at the upper transverse access gallery.
SOUTH VENTILATION SHAFT OF THE STATION (Koumoundourou Street)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft and of the connecting tunnel.
- Masonry walls – plastering works.
- Construction of perimeter wall at the boundaries of the expropriation.
- Construction of metal structures at K.P. +8.36 and +21.00.
- Staircase secondary concreting works.
- Application of sound absorbing plaster.

NORTH VENTILATION SHAFT OF THE STATION (Dimitrakopoulou Street)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft and of the connecting tunnel.
- Pile cap beam demolition.
- Installation of metal structures at K.P. +8.08 and +24.98.
- Construction of sound absorbing plaster.
- Architectural finishes (painting works).

MELA SHAFT

- Installation of reinforcement and concreting of perimeter walls.

- Installation of reinforcement and concreting of the shaft’s staircase.

- Installation of reinforcement and concreting of the intermediate slabs (landing).
- Shaft waterproofing works.
PIRAEUS STATION
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of main station.
The following works are in progress:
- Excavation and temporary retaining of entrances 1, 2 & 3.
- Construction of architectural finishes (painting works at levels -1 and -2 and installation of metal doors at levels -1, -2 and -3, installation of granites at the east platform).
- Installation of mechanical equipment at levels -1, -2 and at the level underneath the platforms.
- Hydro-demolition of diaphragm walls between the station and access 2 at level -2 and between accesses 1 & 3 at level -1.
ROLOI SHAFT & NATM ACCESS TUNNEL
The following works have been completed:
- Sealing of the temporary pumping station.

- Painting works of the shaft.
- Reinstatement at street level.
DIMOTIKO THEATRO STATION

- Reinstatement at street level (flooring works using porphyry – V. Georgiou Street).
- Traffic reinstatement at V. Georgiou Street; sidewalk reinstatement on V. Georgiou Street.
- Construction of a raised floor at room 3.4t (mechanical floor).
- Preparation for painting works at rooms 2.4a and 2.4b at the concourse level.
- Preparatory works for the installation of a false ceiing at the concourse level.
- Constructionof stainless steel grooves at the staircases.
