- New Railway Station: Works for the installation of fire-rated air ducts at the platform level have been completed.
- DIMOKRATIAS Station: Surface reinstatement works at the north section have been completed and the section has already been delivered for use to the public. In progress are marble cladding works at level -1 and surface reinstatement works at the south section of the station.
- VENIZELOU Station: Works for the detachment of antiquities together with the ongoing archaeological investigation, as well as the detachment of archaeological finds in the area of the south access are in progress. In progress are also works for the construction of piles for the temporary retaining at the north access of the station.
- AGHIA SOPHIA Station: In progress are works for the construction of masonry walls and plastering works in all levels. In the area of the station’s South Entrance, station configuration works for the re-positioning of the Byzantine Square have been completed.
- SINTRIVANI Station: Completed are reinstatement works at street level in the area of the north access and the “Asylo tou Paidiou” and in the area of the south access (Thessaloniki Expo), granite cladding works in the central staircase, the installation of perforated sound absorbing panels at track level, and the installation of CCUs in the technical areas. In progress are works for the electrical connection of the escalator and for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms.
- PANEPISTIMIO Station: In progress are works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms, as well as surface reinstatement works (3rd September Street and Egnatia Streets.
- PAPAFI Station: Works related to the construction of the landing at the south entrance and works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms are in progress.
- EFKLIDIS Station: Configuration works and works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area are in progress.
- ANALIPSI Station: The installation of aluminum panels as vertical cladding in public areas and works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms are in progress.
- 25 MARTIOU Station: Works for the installation of the lighting system are in progress.
- VOULGARI Station: Marble cladding works in public areas are in progress.
- NEA ELVETIA Station: The installation of aluminum panels as vertical cladding in public areas and works for the installation of the lighting system are in progress.
DEPOT
Building Complex I: Works related to the installation of aluminum frames and doors, electromechanical works for the installation of trays and power distribution cables, works related to the installation of the building automatic control system, the ventilation/air conditioning equipment and works for the installation of the fire detection system at level +58.00 are in progress.
Building Complex II: Building works and works for the installation of skylights and aluminum frames, works for the installation of sound absorbing wall panels at the Operation Control Centre and works for the installation of the air ducts system at level +70.40 are in progress.
In the surrounding area, in progress are works for the construction of manholes at the local streets in the Depot.
- TRACKWORK: Sleeper distribution and track assembly works at the final section of the western area of the Project, i.e. “New Railway Station” and Forestation, and thermal aluminum welding works on the tracks between AGHIA SOPHIA and DIMOKRATIAS Stations, at track 2 tunnel are in progress.
- TESTING AND COMMISIONING TESTS
- Firefighting System (tunnels): Stand-alone tests for the fire-fighting system in the tunnel sections extending from SYNTRIVANI Station to the Depot are in progress.
- Signaling System: In-house dynamic tests are being continued in Pylaia Depot while dynamic tests are now being executed inside the tunnel (radio coverage tests and tests for balise detection/identification).In-house interface tests are being continued in the remaining subsystems of the Depot.
- Rolling Stock: Acceleration and braking dynamic tests at a line section are in progress.
