In the framework of the updated Transport Plan with a 20-year planning horizon, ATTIKO METRO S.A. is developing the Metro Network Development Plan in Thessaloniki based on the results of the project “Thessaloniki Metro Development Study (TMDS)”.
The preparation of the subject Study, which takes into consideration the entire Urban Cluster and the Suburban Zone of the city of Thessaloniki (total population: 1,110,000 citizens), calls for the collection of data to be used in order to specify the transport related needs and the required infrastructure works in Thessaloniki. For that reason, specialized work crews of the Constructing Company, trading as ATTIKO METRO S.A., will proceed to the inventory of households at selected sampling points of the Study Area from August 1st to August 31st 2021, in view of preparing sampling lists for further conducting Household Surveys.
