VENIZELOU Station
Traffic arrangements
In view of the execution of the works related to the construction of VENIZELOU Station neighboring with Hamza Bey (Alcazar), the following traffic arrangements shall be put into effect as of Tuesday July 27th 2021:
- Vehicular traffic shall be interrupted at the north section of Eletheriou Venizelou Steet from its junction with Egnatia Street up to Christou Vamvaka Street.
- Vehicular traffic at the north branch of Eleftheriou Venizelou is reinstated through Antigonidon Street. Alternatively, Halkeon and Syngrou Streets shall be used as street diversions.
- The axis of Egnatia Street is shifted to the south throughout the width of the worksite occupation.
- All existing traffic regulations implemented in the framework of the construction of VENIZELOU Station still apply.
In line with the pertinent decision of the Traffic Police, the aforementioned traffic arrangements shall be valid for a period of 12 months. ATTIKO METRO S.A. shall make all possible efforts in order to expedite the works and render Venizelou Street back to traffic the soonest possible.
Throughout the duration of construction works, the crews of the Contracting Joint Venture shall be happy to respond to the needs of the residents and adjacent businesses.
