- New Railway Station: Works for the construction of the sewage network and works for the installation of the traction power equipment are in progress.
- DIMOKRATIAS Station: Surface reinstatement works at the south section and the preliminary works for the installation of the steel frame intended for the mounting of the platform screen doors are in progress. In addition, in progress are works for the installation of the tunnel fire-fighting system towards the NEW RAILWAY Station and VENIZELOU Station.
- VENIZELOU Station: Works for the detachment of antiquities and the archaeological investigation are in progress. Pile demolition works in the south access have been completed, while works for the installation of scaffoldings for the construction of the roof slab are about to commence. In progress are also works for the construction of the temporary retaining piles at the north access of the station.
- AGHIA SOPHIA Station: Painting works at level -1 and surface reinstatement works at street level throughout the entire south section of the station are in progress. In progress are also works for the installation of the sewage network at the level underneath the platform and works for the installation of fire detection cable ducts at level -1.
- SINTRIVANI Station: Completed are works for the electrical connection of the escalators and for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms. In progress are works for the installation of equipment bases for the lighting and auxiliary power supply substation, as well as stand-alone tests for escalators and works for the connection of the Building Automation and Control System switchboards. The delivery of the Low Voltage General Switchboard of the station is anticipated.
- PANEPISTIMIO Station: Completed are works for the installation of Fan Coil Units (FCU) in the technical rooms accommodating batteries and the uninterrupted power supply system, as well as works for the installation of Closed-loop Cooling Units (CCU) and works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms, as well as surface reinstatement works (Tritis Septemvriou Street and Egnatia Streets). In progress are works for the installation of an external lift and works for the configuration of the surrounding area.
- PAPAFI Station: Surface reinstatement works in the area of the south access and works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms have been completed. Works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area and works for the installation of Closed-loop Cooling Units (CCU) are in progress. The delivery of the Low Voltage General Switchboard of the station is anticipated.
- EFKLIDIS Station: Configuration works, works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area and works for the installation of cable trays at the lighting and auxiliary power substation are in progress. The delivery of the Low Voltage General Switchboard of the station is anticipated.
- FLEMING Station: Screed-laying works at the platform have been completed, while in progress are works for the configuration and the reinstatement of the surrounding area. The delivery of the Low Voltage General Switchboard of the station is anticipated.
- ANALIPSI Station: Works for the closing of holes drilled for cable trays routing in technical rooms have been completed. The installation of aluminum panels at the hospital’s guard house has been completed, while works for the reinstatement of the fencing are at a completion stage. At street level, works are being executed for the implementation of traffic arrangement F in Delfon Street. Works for the installation of equipment are being executed at the station, while lighting and auxiliary power supply works are being executed in the substation.
- 25 MARTIOU Station: Vertical marble cladding works using granite slabs are in progress at the west access, as well as works for the installation/cabling of CCUs.
- VOULGARI Station: Works for the installation of the ventilation/air conditioning system and works for the installation of cable trays are in progress.
- NEA ELVETIA Station: Works for the installation of the lighting system (cables and lighting fixtures in technical rooms), works for the installation of FCUs in the technical rooms accommodating batteries and the Uninterruptible Power Supply, works for the installation of fiber optics and data transmission cables and works for the installation of the ventilation/air conditioning system are in progress.
DEPOT
- Building Complex I: Exterior cladding activities using aluminum panels at the south façade, works for the installation of aluminum frames and works for the installation of roller shutters at the workshop and the train washing plant are in progress. With regard to the electromechanical installations, in progress are works for the installation of cables for the power distribution, lighting and Building Automation cables, works for the installation of low voltage cables for the telecommunications system, works for the installation of lighting fixtures at the workshop building and works for the installation of sockets at the Building complex. In progress are also works for the installation of piping networks for the fire-fighting and the compressed air systems at level +69.00; water proofing tests at the compressed air network are also in progress.
- Building Complex II: The installation of false ceiling and doors have been completed at the Operations Control Centre. In progress are works for the installation of a raised floor, painting works and floor filling works at levels +70.70 and +66.40, works for the installation of lighting fixtures, air conditioning ducts and inlets, as well as works for the installation of pipings and nozzles for the gas automatic suppression system. At Building 2, in progress are works for the installation of special roofing and aluminum frame items, while, with regard to the electromechanical works, equipment and network installations at the compressed air plant room are at a completion stage; works related to the installation of an air conditioning system piping network, waterproofing tests at the water supply, fire-fighting and compressed air supply networks and works for the installation of under-floor cable trays are in progress. In the surrounding area, in progress are works for the installation of piping and infrastructure related to the fire-fighting, irrigation, water supply and sewage networks and works for the installation of cable conduits.
- TRACKWORK: Sleeper distribution and track assembly works at the final section of the western area of the Project, i.e. “New Railway Station” and Forestation, and thermal aluminum welding works have been completed. Concreting works on the tracks between DIMOKRATIAS and AGHIA SOPHIA Stations and works for the installation of prefabricated cable ducts between AGHIA SOPHIA and SINTRIVANI Stations are in progress.
TESTING AND COMMISIONING ACTIVITIES
- Escalators: Stand-alone tests for the escalators in PAPAFI Station have been completed, while the respective tests for the escalators in SINTRIVANI Station are in progress.
- Platform Screen Doors: In-house partial stand-alone tests for the sub-system in SINTRIVANI Station as well as in PANEPISTIMIO, PAPAFI and EFKLIDIS Stations have commenced.
- PRCS (Power Remote Control System) System: In-house partial stand-alone and interface tests at the Traction Power sub-system in PYLEA Depot and at the Rectifier Sub-stations of SINTRIVANI, ANALIPSI and EFKLIDIS Stations have commenced.
