- New Railway Station: With regard to the traction power equipment, the installation of a rectifier transformer is at a completion stage. In progress are works for the installation of equipment bases at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation (LAS). Completed are works for the installation of the fire-fighting system inside the tunnels at DIMOKRATIAS Station.
- DIMOKRATIAS Station: Vertical marble cladding works are in progress at the concourse level and the works for the transportation and installation of the equipment bases at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation, at the Traction Power Substation and at the Uninterruptible Power Supply Equipment room. The installation of monorails for the mounting of equipment in the technical rooms has been completed.
- VENIZELOU Station: In the south access the construction of the roof slab has been completed. In progress are preliminary works for the implementation of the traffic arrangement M’. At the north access of the station, works for the construction of the temporary retaining piles and micropiles are in progress, as well as excavation works and pile head demolition works for the construction of the pile cap beams.
- AGHIA SOPHIA Station: The concreting works of the temporary openings at the mezzanine slabs and at the roof slabs of the south section and works for the installation of the waterproofing have been completed. In addition, the installation of the monorails for the mounting of electrical equipment at the PPC technical rooms and at the lighting/ auxiliary power supply substation has been completed. In progress are plastering works at the platform level, painting works at all levels and street-level reinstatement works in the south section of the station. Moreover, in progress are works for the installation of the water-supply, sewage and fire-fighting networks of the station, works for the installation of ducts for the fire-detection cables and works for the installation of cable tray supports at the mezzanine level.
- SINTRIVANI Station (Station and Croosover): Floor cladding works using granite slabs are in progress, as well as works for the installation of interior sub-frames for the mounting of platform screen doors cladding, works for the construction of perforated sound-absorbing panels at track level, works for the installation of perimeter angles to support raised floors in technical areas, ceramic tiles cladding works at the pumping station of the station, works for the installation of guardrails and balustrades at the ramps at street-level, cable connection works and works for the installation of medium voltage supply and works for the connection of low voltage distribution cables. At the crossover, works for the installation of the metal beam separating the tunnels have been completed, while in progress are works for the cladding of the beam with gypsum board.
- PANEPISTIMIO Station: Completed are works for the cladding of the central staircases with granite slabs, works at the cladding of the pumping station with ceramic tiles and works for the construction of skirting at the PPC substation technical room. In addition, the construction of the sewage network between the concourse level and the street-level has been completed, as well as the construction of the steel base of the infrastructure equipment for the transmission of information at the Station Master Room. In progress are works for the installation of interior sub-frames for the mounting of platform screen doors cladding, works for the construction of the NW wall separating the station and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, works for the sound-insulation of the ventilation shafts using mineral wool, and the installation of perimeter angles to support the raised floors in technical areas. Finally, in progress are works for the connection of the medium voltage equipment, the installation of ventilation/ air conditioning equipment and air ducts and works for the installation of tunnel ventilation equipment.
- PAPAFI Station: Architectural finishes works and electromechanical installation works at the guardhouse of Papafi Institution have been completed. Completed are also works for the installation of the perimeter steel angles accommodating the raised floors in technical rooms and works for the installation of the steel base of the infrastructure equipment for the transmission of information at the Station Master Room. In progress are works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area, the construction of raised floors in the signaling and telecommunications technical rooms. The works for the connection of cables, the installation of medium voltage power supply equipment, the installation of air conditioning equipment in the battery rooms and the installation of uninterruptible power supply equipment are in progress.
- EFKLIDIS Station: Configuration works and works for the reinstatement of the surrounding area, works for the installation of raised floors in the signaling and telecommunications technical areas are at a completion stage. In progress are works for the installation of sound insulation at the ventilation shafts, as well as cabling works and works for the connection of the low voltage distribution equipment and works for the installation of the tunnel ventilation equipment.
- FLEMING Station: Works for the installation of raised floors in the signaling and telecommunications technical areas have been completed. Works for the configuration of the surrounding area, works for the installation and hydraulic connection of the water chiller, heat pump and the Fan Coil Units in the technical rooms are in progress, as well as cabling works and works for the connection of the low voltage distribution equipment.
- ANALIPSI Station: The electrical and mechanical installations at the guard house of the hospital, which will be delivered for use very soon, have been completed. At street-level, surface reinstatement works are being executed at the east section of Delfon Street for the implementation of traffic arrangement G. In the signaling and telecommunications equipment technical rooms the installation of raised floors has been completed. In progress are works for the installation of the access control/ intrusion detection system, works for the installation of the outdoor fan, works for the installation of the Fan Coil Units, the water chiller and the heat pump, cabling installation works for the Building Automation and Control System, cable trays and cabling installation works at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation.
- 25 MARTIOU Station: Surface reinstatement works (Solonos Street sidewalks) are in progress. The connection of the irrigation network of the station with EYATH (Thessaloniki Water Supply and Sewerage Company) has been completed, as well as the installation of raised floors in the signaling and telecommunications equipment technical rooms and the installation of the steel base for the information transmission infrastructure equipment in the Station Master Room. In progress are works for the installation of steel trays in the ventilation shafts, works for the installation of the Fan Coil Units, the water chiller and the heat pump, works for the installation of cables at the Building Automation and Control System and cabling works for the lighting system, works for the installation of trays, earthing and cables at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation.
- VOULGARI Station: Works for the installation of cable trays at the ventilation shafts have been completed, while works for the installation of perforated sound absorbing panels at the track level are in progress. In progress are also works for the installation of air ducts and works for the installation of equipment for the tunnel’s ventilation/ air conditioning system, cabling installation works and works for the installation of equipment for the Building Automation and Control System and works for the installation of cable trays at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation.
- NEA ELVETIA Station: Works for the installation of the lighting system (cables and lighting fixtures in technical rooms), works for the installation of the equipment of the ventilation/air conditioning system, electrical connection works for escalators and works for the construction of the piping for air conditioning units.
DEPOT
Building Complex I: Works for the installation of roller shutters at the repair workshop have been completed, as well as ceramic tiles cladding works at the restaurant areas and works for the installation of steel doors at the washing plant. In progress are works for the construction of mineral fiber false ceilings, exterior cladding activities using aluminum panels at the south façade, works for the installation of aluminum frame, works for the construction of partitions and false ceiling cladding activities, works for the installation of compartmentation panels at the repair workshop, painting works, and works for the installation of roller shutters at the train washing plant. With regard to the electromechanical installations of Building Complex I, completed are works for the installation of low voltage cables and cable terminations for the reception of telecommunications data. In progress are works for the installation of cabling for the lighting and power distribution systems, works for the installation of lighting fixtures at the workshop building, works for the installation and connection of cables at the Building Automation and Control System, works for the installation of ventilation/ air conditioning system, including the inlets, works for the installation of ceiling-mounted PCUs and the insulation of air conditioning pipes. In addition, in progress are also works for the installation of the load lifting elevator, works for the installation of fans at the train painting plant, and works for the installation of the equipment at the heating plant (heat pump circulators, valves, etc.).
Building Complex II: With regard to the Operations Control Centre, in progress are the works for the installation of furniture, workstations and the video wall. In Building 2, works for the installation of special roofing and aluminum frame items are in progress, as well as works for the installation of industrial flooring, painting works at level +58.00, works for the installation of tiles in sanitary areas and office rooms in the Operations Control Centre, works for the construction of partitions and false ceiling cladding activities, works for the construction of mineral fiber false ceilings at level +66.40 of the Operations Control Centre. With regard to the electromechanical works, works for the installation of in-floor cable ducts, works for the installation of air conditioning piping and works for the installation of air conditioning units, works for the installation of low voltage cables at level +66.40, works for the connection of the fire-detection equipment and works for the installation of air-ducts of the ventilation/ air conditioning system at level +70.70.
In the surrounding area, in progress are works for the installation of piping and infrastructure related to the fire-fighting, irrigation, water supply and sewage networks and works for the construction of shaft and works for the installation of cable conduits.
- TESTING AND COMMISIONING ACTIVITIES
- Escalators: Stand-alone tests for the escalators in PAPAFI and SINTRIVANI Stations have been completed, while the respective tests for the outdoor escalators in 25 MARTIOU Station and the two escalators in VOULGARI Station have also been completed.
- Lifts: Stand-alone tests for the two lifts in PAPAFI Station and the outdoor lift of EFKLIDIS Station have been completed.
- SIG Power Supply System, TLC: All in-house partial stand-alone tests for the sub-system in SINTRIVANI Station up to the Depot (inclusive) have been completed.
- 3rd rail system: Successful powering of the 3rd rail system from Pylea Depot up to SINTRIVANI Station.
- RADIO System: In-house partial stand-alone tests for the sub-system from SINTRIVANI Station up to the Depot (inclusive) and in the corresponding section of the tunnel have been completed so that a network is available.
Interface tests with the DCS and the TLC subsystems are in progress.
- DCS System: Interface tests with the signaling, radio and TLC systems are in progress.
Dynamic radio-coverage tests in the entire section of the line from the Depot up to SINTRIVANI Station are being executed.
Dynamic interface tests with the signaling system are in progress.
- Platform Screen Doors: In-house partial stand-alone tests for the sub-system in SINTRIVANI Station as well as in PANEPISTIMIO, PAPAFI, EFKLIDIS, FLEMING and ANALIPSI Stations are in progress.
TRACKWORK: The works for the concreting of the lines between DIMOKRATIAS and the NEW RAILWAY STATION have been completed. In progress are works for the construction of floating slabs in tracks 1 & 2 between AGHIA SOFIA and VENIZELOU Stations, works for the grinding of thermal aluminum welding, and works for the installation of precast cable ducts at the tunnels between AGHIA SOFIA and DIMOKRATIAS Station.
