MANIATIKA STATION
STATION’s OPEN CUT
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft.
- Construction of partition walls at the station’s expropriation limits (street level).
- Surface reinstatement (construction of sidewalk) at Etolikou and Mavromichali streets.
The following works are in progress:
- Architectural finishes – Painting works at levels -4, -3, -2, -1.
- Installation of metal structures in room 3.14 – 3.16.
- Installation of false ceilings and steel cladding (panels) on the walls of the main areas at the station’s level -1.
- Installation of granites and stainless steel ducts at the staircases.
- Construction of flower beds’ walls, installation of paving stones (at street level) at the station.
MAIN TUNNEL OF THE STATION (ΝΑΤΜ)
The following works have been completed:
- Steel cladding on the roof and side coverings.
- Installation of information boards at the platforms.
UNDERGROUND NATM SECTIONS OF THE STATION (NATM)
The following works have been completed:
- Installation of granites at the platforms.
The following works are in progress:
- Installation of granites and stainless steel ducts at the staircases.
- Installation of lining (made of steel and gypsum boards) at the access tunnels of the station and at the upper transverse access gallery.
SOUTH VENTILATION SHAFT OF THE STATION (Koumoundourou Street)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft and of the connecting tunnel.
- Construction of perimeter wall at the boundaries of the expropriation.
- Construction of metal structures at K.P. +8.36 and +21.00.
- Application of sound absorbing plaster.
- Installation of staircase balustrades.
- Architectural finishes (painting works).
- Installation of access hatch at the street level.
The following works are in progress:
- Surface reinstatement (construction of sidewalk and of surrounding area).
- Painting of parapet walls at street level.
NORTH VENTILATION SHAFT OF THE STATION (Dimitrakopoulou Street)
The following works have been completed:
- Permanent lining of the shaft and of the connecting tunnel.
- Pile cap beam demolition.
- Installation of metal structures at K.P. +8.08 and +24.98.
- Construction of sound absorbing plaster.
- Architectural finishes (painting works).
- Installation of staircase balustrades.
MELA SHAFT
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of pit.
The following works are in progress:
- Dismantling works at the pit’s perimeter, demolition of pile cap beam and construction of the pit’s exterior stair.
PIRAEUS STATION
The following works have been completed:
- Concreting of main station (works at a small section of the roof slab and at the stairs towards the street level are pending).
The following works are in progress:
- Excavation and temporary retaining of entrance 3 (lift pit).
- Construction of architectural finishes (installation of granites at level -1, painting works at level -2, filling works at level -2, wall cladding at the platform level, installation of false ceilings at level -3 and installation of galvanised steel panels at level -3).
- Electromechanical works at levels -1 and -2 and installation of air exhaust duct at the platforms’ level (-3).
- High pressure water blasting at the diaphragm walls between the station and access 1..
- Waterproofing of accesses 2 & 3.
- Concreting of exterior and interior access walls 1, 2 & 3.
- Reinforcing and concreting of the roof slab at access 2.
- Concreting of the roof slab at the PPC room – access 1.
- Removal of struts at accesses 1, 2.
ROLOI SHAFT & NATM ACCESS TUNNEL

- Sealing of the temporary pumping station.
- Installation of emergency exit hatch at street level.
