• New Railway Station: Completed are hole drilling works for the installation of the platform screen doors (PSD) support sub-frames and of the transformers at the Lighting and Auxiliary Power Supply Substation (LAS). In progress are works for the installation of cable trays in the tunnel towards DIMOKRATIAS Station.
• DIMOKRATIAS Station: The installation of transformers at the LAS is completed. In progress are works for the installation of PSDs and the installation of the ventilation / air conditioning system.
• VENIZELOU Station: The works for the temporary detachment of antiquities along with an archaeological excavation survey continue. At the south access, completed are works for the removal of backfilling material for the protection of antiquities, while the archaeological excavation is in progress. At the north access, completed are the works for the construction of a temporary shed for the protection of the archaeological excavation, which is in progress.
• AGHIA SOPHIA Station: Completed are works for the construction of industrial flooring at the concourse and the mezzanine floor levels, the installation of acoustic panels at track 1 level, as well as works for the installation of doors at the E/M installations level. In progress are painting works at levels -1 and -2, works for the construction of gypsum boards at the locker rooms and WC areas at the concourse level, street level reinstatement works at the north section, as well as works for the assembly and installation of the interior escalators of the Station.
• SINTRIVANI Station: Completed are works for the construction of fire stops in the technical rooms accommodating signaling and telecommunications equipment, works for the installation of perforated sound absorbing panels at track level, PSD cladding works using aluminum panels, as well as works for the installation of data transmission infrastructure equipment in the Station Master Room (SMR) with the respective cable trays.
• PANEPISTIMIO Station: Completed are works for the connection of cables with their terminal boxes between the MV switchboards and the transformers in the LAS, works for the installation of the data transmission infrastructure equipment in the SMR with the respective cable trays, as well as works for the installation of Fire Hose Cabinets (FHC) in the track 2 tunnel towards PAPAFI Station. In progress are works for the installation of a handrail at the emergency exit, the installation of grillage in PPC technical room and at the mezzanine floor, as well as works for the installation of the ventilation / air conditioning system.
• PAPAFI Station: Completed are works for the installation of interior sub-frames to accommodate the mounted cladding of the PSDs, works for the installation of the suspension system of the vertical aluminum panels at the concourse level, the final painting works in the technical rooms for signaling and telecommunications equipment, works for the installation of cable trays in the LAS and the installation of the A/C equipment in the technical rooms accommodating batteries. In progress are works for the lining of the platform floor with granite slabs, the construction of fire stops in the technical rooms, works for the construction of false ceilings in personnel rooms and public areas, electrical connection works for the ventilation/ air conditioning equipment, as well as works for the installation of data transmission infrastructure equipment in the SMR with the respective cable trays.
• EFKLIDIS Station: Completed are cladding works with ceramic tiles of the pumping station, works for the installation of the interior sub-frames to support the PSD cladding, as well as works for the installation of the industrial roller shutter guides at the accesses. In progress are works for the construction of fire stops in technical rooms, as well as works for the installation of data transmission infrastructure equipment in the SMR with the respective cable trays.
• FLEMING Station: Completed are works for the lining of the central staircase with granite slabs, works for the installation of the interior sub-frames to support the PSD cladding, the works for the installation of rails for the suspension of equipment in the ventilation shafts, works for the connection of cables at the outgoing branch circuit of the LV General Switchboard towards the respective field equipment and the installation of the A/C equipment in the technical rooms accommodating batteries. In progress are works for the configuration of the surrounding area, as well as electrical connection works concerning the equipment of ventilation / air conditioning and tunnel ventilation.
• ANALIPSI Station: Completed are works for the installation of the interior sub-frames to support the PSD cladding.
• 25 MARTIOU Station: Completed are marble cladding works at the eastern and western access, works for the installation of the mounting system intended for aluminum panels cladding at the concourse level, as well as works for the installation of rainwater grids in front of the staircase and the escalators at the concourse level. In progress are works for the installation of trays at the ventilation shafts, as well as reinstatement works at street level.
• VOULGARI Station: Completed are works for the construction of a sub-base for the lining of the platform floor using granite slabs, works for the installation of the industrial roller shutter guides at the accesses, as well as works for the installation of the suspension system of the vertical aluminum panels at the concourse level. In progress are reinstatement works at street level, lighting and fire detection systems installation works, as well as the preparatory works for the stand-alone tests for the indoor escalators.
• NEA ELVETIA Station: Completed are works for the installation of the 20 KV M.V.P. and S.M.V.P. Medium Voltage switchboards in LAS.
DEPOT:
• Building Complex I: Painting works in the parking areas at level -1 have been completed, as well as works for the installation of stainless steel cladding items at the staircases and the works for the installation of the mineral fiber false ceiling frames in office areas at all levels. Works for the construction of partition panels and gypsum wall lining and the works for the installation of steel stripes on the false ceilings of the sanitary areas are about to be completed. In progress are painting works at stairways, works for the installation of indoor cladding panels, floor lining works using linoleum, construction of false ceilings at stairways and at the central entrance and works for the installation of frames. With regard to the electromechanical installations of Building Complex I, completed are works for the installation of roof-mounted fan coil units, the installation of fire-fighting hose cabinets, as well as the installation of tower crane #31. In progress are cabling works for the lighting system and lighting fixtures, installation and connection of the BACS system cables, works for the connection of the fire detection equipment, works for the connection of IDS equipment and works for the insulation of the A/C piping. In addition, in progress are works for the installation of equipment intended for the cooling room and the water tower and testing of the compressed air network.
• Building Complex II: With regard to the Administration Building and the Operations Control Centre, completed are gravel layering works at the terrace. Almost completed are tile cladding works at level +66.40 and works for the construction of frames for mineral fiber false ceilings at level +58. 00. In progress are painting works at level +58.00 and the installation of acoustic panels at the terrace. In the Train Stabling Building, completed are masonry works in the area managing the diagnostic system for axles at level -1 and the floor fi lling works at levels +58.00 and +59.00. In progress are works for the installation of gypsum boards at level +58.00, and works for the construction of gypsum boar partition panels at levels +55.00/ +59.00. As regards electromechanical works, completed are works for the installation of the wheel-set gauging/ diagnostic system equipment and in progress are works for the installation of the air ducts and air conditioning piping at level +52.00 in the area of track 1. In the surrounding area, in progress are works for the installation of the E/M networks, curb and gutter construction works in the internal roads R1, R2 and R3, while completed are the slab paving works at the perimeter of Building Complex I and at the entrance of the OCC.
• TRACKWORK: Completed are works for the construction of track floating slabs between DIMOKRATIAS and AGHIA SOFIA Stations, the construction of the floating slab in track 1 and the installation of the turnout at the Dimokratias crossover, as well as the installation of the prefabricated cable routes between DIMOKRATIAS and AGHIA SOFIA Stations. In progress is the construction of the floating slab in track 2 at Dimokratias crossover and the construction of the floating slab in track 1 between New Railway and Dimokratias stations. In addition, in progress are the works for the installation of signaling equipment (track circuits and balise bases) in the tunnels from New Railway Station to Sintrivani Station.
• As regards testing and commissioning activities:
• Traction Power Remote Control System (PRCS): In progress are the internal partially stand-alone tests and interface tests with the traction power sub-system in Pylea Depot and in the Rectifier Substations of 25 Martiou, Voulgari and Nea Elvetia Stations.
• System Integration Tests (SIT): The gauge related test in Pylea Depot (SIT-DPT-1) and in the Line section from the Depot up to Panepistimio Station (SIT-ML-1) has been conducted.
The train-platform gap related test using an empty train and an M3 loaded-train was successfully conducted.
