Once again, ATTIKO METRO S.A. honored the name-day of Aghia Varvara, protector of workers in underground activities, in an event that took place in the currently under construction NEW RAILWAY STATION of Thessaloniki Metro.
Said Mr. Christos Tsitouras, Chairman and Managing Director of ATTIKO METRO S.A.: “We are gathered here today to honor the name-day of Aghia Varvara, protector of those engaged in the construction of underground projects. The intention of ATTIKO METRO S.A. is the continuation of the works for the construction of Thessaloniki Metro, in strict adherence to the law”.
Apart from the project employees, this unelaborated event was also attended by the Secretary General of Public Works Mr. Stratos Simopoulos, His Holiness the Metropolite of Neapolis and Stavroupoli Mr. Varnavas, the Vice Chairman of ATTIKO METRO S.A. Mr. Dimitris Grivas, as well as by the member of the ATTIKO METRO BoD Mr. Giorgos Ferentinos.
