Further to the implementation of the traffic arrangements in Piraeus Central and 1st District, the works related to the reinstatement of traffic isles, road marking etc. are in progress;
Urban planning works have commenced at the sidewalk of Grigoriou Lambraki Street across the tramway route;
Technical works have commenced in various locations along the tramway route, namely at the tramway terminal stop in SEF (Peace and Friendship Stadium), in the area where KARAISKAKI stop is foreseen to be located, at Lambraki reverse point, etc;
The works for the relocation of the trolley bus lines no. 16 and 17 at 2nd Merarchias Street have been completed. The works for the relocation of trolley bus line no. 20 at Bouboulinas Street are scheduled to commence the soonest possible, all of them located outside the route of the Tramway extension to Piraeus;
The works in building no.2 and the works for the re-arrangement of the office and auxiliary spaces in building 1 at the Tramway Depot at Elliniko have been completed, while the works for their delivery to STASY S.A./TRAM S.A. for use are in progress;
The works at the children’s playground at Rizariou – P. Falirou area have been completed. The playground was delivered to the Municipality of Paleo Faliro for use on April 23rd 2014.
